Protocols and Rituals for using the crystals

If you have been reading the previous articles in this series, particularly on my experiences with my teacher, you will know that at no point was I never explicitly told what to do, either verbally or in writing. I was expected to find out myself. This is the most powerful spiritual method for learning as you do not become dependent on someone. Self-reliance is the Key.

What happens is that over a short period of time, you find that the knowledge of using the crystals comes from within. Somehow you know how to use them. From then on, you may well find yourself telling me how you use them, and this feedback is very inspiring. I had no idea that the crystals can evoke such powerful spiritual experiences.

Armed with this Inner Knowledge, you are now free to explore, test and modify protocols available on the internet or elsewhere. Your Inner Knowledge will help you to know what works, what doesn't work, or how you can change to protocol so that it does work properly. Many protocols are incomplete. Just as my Teacher told me he would fix any mistakes, the Crystals are just as forgiving. If you are in a serious scrape, tell me what you did, and I will help you. This does not extend to criminal or illegal acts.

The key technique for using your crystals is to visualise them as the link between the Heavens and the Earth. You can visualise spiritual light as either flowing from the Heavens to the Earth, or vice-versa. Either way, the crystal will act as a powerful transformer of the light to benefit you.

Tips: Caring for your Crystals

• Keep your crystals private - other people do not need to know you have them.
• Keep the small Master Crystal with you, while the larger crystal or set can stay on your altar
• Putting the crystals by your bed while you sleep is recommended.
• If the energy from the crystals stops you sleeping, put the crystals by the bed
• Use the pointed end for projecting energy
• Use the blunt end for absorbing energy
• For men, the right hand projects energy, while the left absorbs energy. For women, this is usually reversed.
• Do not use a salt bath or exposure to the Sun or Moon to 'clean' the crystals
• Use a sacred stone or building at a sacred site to charge the crystals. Make certain beforehand that the sacred site is 'sacred' and the energies have not been adulterated
• Like diamonds, quartz crystals are incredibly hard; however, unlike diamonds they are also brittle, so they could shatter if dropped onto a hard surface.
• The surface of quartz is porous so it can absorb liquids
• You can remove the labels if you want, but make sure you can identify which is which afterwards.
• The velveteen bag can be used to hide the energies of the crystals.
• After a period of time you cannot feel the energies of the crystal. Congratulations! You have synchronised your energy with the crystal (in the same way that you do not feel the heat of a hot bath after a few minutes). Call me for a re-charge to the next level.
• Experiment with arrangements of the crystals on your altar. For example, a set of crystals can be arranged in a circle, with points in or out. Note the change of energies.
• If you have several different crystals, experiment in how you place them on your altar. You may find one arrangement promotes peace and contemplation, while another evokes spirits or magical knowledge.
